New loots

Got a package from Mandarake today.
I used DHL just because and I was worried that it'd take a while to get here, but it was about four days in transit. Not too horrible, I think I might use them during the times of year when EMS is a pain in the ass to deal with.


Today's loot.

Pureneemo Lycee: Progression (weird name) and a bunch of doujinshi I got to fill out the order since only getting one thing just seemed like a waste. :/

Somehow, all but two ended up oni-related. That wasn't intentional, but eh.




Lycee herself is pretty nice, though there were a LOT of loose threads in the underside of her coat that I had to trim so they wouldn't stick out and make me have an OCD-related aneurysm.

She also has no extra hands, unlike Marisa and Koron. Kind of lame, that. :/

But eh. I HAS MORE DOLLS.

wireless mouse

My old mouse died on Monday, so I finally ended pulling out the wireless one that I've had in my cabinet for like two years now.

The thing is seriously like three times more responsive than the old one, which took some getting used to.

Unfortunately, there's now an issue with my cursor disappearing from the screen at random. It's kind of really getting on my nerves.

It also seems to be eating up a bit of RAM... I guess Gospel 3's days really are numbered. :/

Paper Tenko

Figured out how to get my PS3 controller to work on Chikage, so I finally decided to poke around with Paper Tenko.

Ended up blowing through the demo and cleared it a few hours ago. it was quite enjoyable, aside from some balance issues here and there... but the last update was in like July and the guy what made it hasn't posted anything new since and BAH.

I want mooooooore.

figma Homura GET

Figma Homura finally came in the mail last Wednesday, after six weeks of waiting.

I am never using SAL for something I actually care about during the month of December again, seriously.

Homura's pretty great, though. Well worth the money.

Haven't eaten one of these since all the grocery store bakeries around here stopped carrying them well over a decade ago.

あけましておめでとう！

Yay new year... mine opened with coughing and sneezing and I HATE BEING SICK SO FREAKING MUCH.


Christmas was nice though, aside from learning that my baby cousin is now one of those horrible wiener children and has little hope of recovery. Bleh.

But yeah, 2011's was the best Christmas since the year that I got Gospel 3. Yay.

Not included in this picture is my new PS3. This stuff is going to keep me occupied for a good while.

And now I go back to writhing in agony because my throat is sore and I'm sneezing like mad and everything hurts and AAGH.
