New loots

Got a package from Mandarake today.
I used DHL just because and I was worried that it'd take a while to get here, but it was about four days in transit. Not too horrible, I think I might use them during the times of year when EMS is a pain in the ass to deal with.


Today's loot.

Pureneemo Lycee: Progression (weird name) and a bunch of doujinshi I got to fill out the order since only getting one thing just seemed like a waste. :/

Somehow, all but two ended up oni-related. That wasn't intentional, but eh.




Lycee herself is pretty nice, though there were a LOT of loose threads in the underside of her coat that I had to trim so they wouldn't stick out and make me have an OCD-related aneurysm.

She also has no extra hands, unlike Marisa and Koron. Kind of lame, that. :/

But eh. I HAS MORE DOLLS.

Paper Tenko

Figured out how to get my PS3 controller to work on Chikage, so I finally decided to poke around with Paper Tenko.

Ended up blowing through the demo and cleared it a few hours ago. it was quite enjoyable, aside from some balance issues here and there... but the last update was in like July and the guy what made it hasn't posted anything new since and BAH.

I want mooooooore.

Gensou Shoujo Taisen Kou (2)

So for whatever reason, I started up Reimu's route in Gensou Shoujo Taisen Kou on Saturday.

Was just dicking around because why not, but then I got to the mission where Sanae shows up, beats the crap out of Reimu, and then leaves... and my soul of a gamer went all nutty figuring out a way to surround and defeat her before she retreated.

And then I remembered that Yuuka is another boss who does the exact same kind of thing... but to a far worse degree.

I'd given up on beating her my first time around because I assumed that it wasn't possible, but I looked up videos on Niconico anyways to see if anyone had actually managed to beat her and get the Taiyou no Hana that she carries (10% EN regeneration!), and lo and behold, it is in fact doable.

So cue me spending the next two days and two stages figuring out a way to get Reimu and Keine's stats high enough to actually stand a chance of beating her... she runs away at 7500HP, which is very much UGH WHY.

And then... I did.

First try was a bust as my max damage was like 7450 or something similarly bullshit, so I tried shuffling around some character skills and yeah. VICTORY with like 50-ish HP to spare.

...and now I am completely mentally exhausted, as this crap has been consuming my every thought since Sunday night and yeah. Zenigame brain hurt.

BUT HELL YES I ACTUALLY BEAT YUUKA.

Gensou Shoujo Taisen Kou CLEAR

I cleared Marisa's route in Gensou Shoujo Taisen yesterday.

Friend of mine decided to download it because he is a dirty pirate and so that shamed me into clearing the last four stages, on account of me having owned this game since June and yeah.

All spellcards captured, all wifepoints GET.

Last stage was Flandre, which took me two fucking hours to complete.

Here's my team, sorted by level. Marisa is seven kills from making Ace. Next closest is Nitori somehow, and then Alice. (though this is not reflected in their levels)


Aaand here are Marisa's stats. Highest of any of my characters, and she's also the only character I have who learned Nekketsu. Combined with Master Spark, the strongest attack in base damage for any allied unit, I was able to finish off Flandre with like 12000 damage worth of overkill.


And now I get to wait until Spring for You to come out, as it got delayed again. Whee.

Marisa GET

So yesterday, my Pure Neemo Marisa doll finally came in.


Looks like the boxes for this series is will all be "generic Touhou box," the identifying stuff like the character name and parts list are all stickers that go onto it.


So I took her out of the box and fixed the ribbon on her braid (you have to do it yourself) and 魔理沙かわいいよ魔理沙


Parts list said "five types of hands," which I was totally fine with. But then I open the box and she has a total of ten different pairs of hands. Holy shit.


Azone's Pure Neemo body looks nice, but the poseability is pretty limited. The shoulders and hips only move front and back, which kind of limits the amount of dumb stuff I can do with her. :/

The Obitsu body looks to have a full range of articulation, but I don't care for the way the joints look... yay tradeoffs.

So yeah, after seeing how SUPER MEGA ULTRA CUTE Marisa was, I finally broke down and preordered Remilia. Shame that Reimu and Sakuya are kind of eh, but I suppose it's better on my wallet this way.

Azone 霧雨魔理沙

Friend of mine showed me this, which caused me to lose my mind and obsessively check Amiami until they had her up for preorder. She's just too cute, damn it.

...probably way too much money, but it's Marisa and I heart her more than any Touhou character that isn't Suika. (Alice wavers from equal to Marisa to slightly below her.)

At least she comes out in August, which gives me plenty of time to save up. Ten dollars a week would do it easily.

Though I know I'm just going to stall like I always do and then freak out come August and pray that I get enough birthday money to afford her. :/


...now watch them announce Alice next month and then a Zenigame goes crazy with the preorders once more.
